The Governor of Illinois is an idiot, rants of an 18 and a 50 yr old

Today is December 14th 2008, we are getting closer and closer to the end of the decade. World Markets are failing, In order to encourage growth, markets across the globe are turning to capitalism. France and Germany are lowering capital gains taxes. The Slovak Republic is modeling their economic future after the system created by the American Founding Fathers and free trade. One of the biggest communist states, China, is embracing Capitalism, and it’s economy has grown to the point that they own most of the United States debt. The United States has forgotten where they came from, and are embracing Nationalism, imitating Comrade Hugo Chavez to a point.

I have learned a lot since yesterday, and as usual I will post my experiences on this blog, but my frustration grows diametrically with every day that goes by. I can sit in here and tell you that I believe that the economy will recover and we all will be ok, but I really do not believe that, to a point.

Friday night was an interesting evening, my oldest son came home from work, took a shower and started a rant that equated my feelings for quite some time now.

He said: .”My generation is made of idiots, they are a bunch of ungrateful pansies that care only about themselves and do not care about what is going on around them…”

“The new generation is rude, has no manners, no common sense.”

See, he works at a restaurant, until January when he will go to Marine Basic Training. He has seen a twenty two year old mother suck her thumb in public, a mother that cannot help her third grader do a math problem, a teacher that when he knew that he had joined the Marines asked him if that was his last option, only to be told by my son that the Marines were his first option.

He has told a boisterous young drunk to “shut up, pay his bill, and leave the restaurant…” when the young punk stood up and yell “Happy effing birthday”.

He has seen his peers vote for Obama, and not knowing who Jeremiah Wright was, nor who Bill Ayres is, nor understand that Obama has said that the cap and trade system, that he supports, will bankrupt the coal industry in the United States.

He was also told by a college professor that because of the Freedom of Information Act, the public has the right to know everything that our Armed Forces do, what the civilian intelligence agencies know, and what the law enforcement agencies do… He was about to call his college professor an idiot, (in case you don’t know it, every act or law starts with an introduction, and continues with who of what the law is to be applied to, and who does not apply to or its exceptions). National Security is one of the exclusions of the Freedom of Information Act.

The Governor of Illinois is an idiot. Who in his right mind would continue to try and “allegedly“ sell a Senate seat, while at the same time know that he was under investigation by the FBI? The media in our Nation has been lobotomized. And I cringe when I hear Hannity’s “Man on the street“, Glenn Beck’s “More’n trivia”, or Jay Leno’s “Jay walking”.

The old saying: “It is best for people to think that you are an idiot, than to open your mouth and convince them that you really are” applies to most of those who participate in the aforementioned opinion interviews.

Al Franken is a crook for challenging voting ballots that clearly show the intent of the voter, and continue to push for more recounting. When someone comes up with a box of ballots found in his car, that worker needs to be investigated and penalized for tampering with the voting process.

People question the tax exemption of churches that support the Republican candidates, but would not touch the exemption status of black churches that supported Obama. They would push to threaten the exemption status of a Jewish organization for inviting Sarah Palin to speak at an anti Iran protest, but will not challenge the exemption status of the Association of Community Organizers (ACORN) whose members have being found guilty of voter fraud, intimidation, and corruption (the brother of the founder was found guilty of fraud, embezzlement, and other charges, and continue to be on ACORN’s payroll for decades. Ooops, I almost forgot, they openly supported Obama in their meetings, training events, and conventions. I am pretty sure that this is a violation of IRS Standards.

They spend their waken hours trashing Sarah Palin’s $100000.00 plus wardrobe, but do not question Hillary Clinton’s multi thousand dollars pant suit collection… or worst yet, did not investigated their candidate’s past, or present for that matter. And even today, they refuse to acknowledge that there is a possibility that the President Elect be in violation of the Constitution of the United States. It is  A SAD DAY IN HELL when even Tom Brokaw recognizes that we don’t know anything about Obama, and that his cult of personality has eerie tonalities.

Obama got rid of his opponents to the Illinois’ Senate seat, by finding one by one whether they where qualified or not. The standard should be the same for him, we need to find out if he is qualified, or not.

“Banking Queen”, as named in the parody song, Barney Frank is another piece of work not worthy of remain in the Halls of Government. These collection of crooks, mentally challenged, who suffering either of a lack of intellect, or a lack honesty need to be thrown out.

Our politicians cannot run the White House cafeteria without government subsidies and they want to dictate and take over the auto industry in the United States, not to mention the banking industry, …

It is almost time to sharpen the figurative pitch forks gang.

Our politicians seem to believe that we are either idiots, unfortunately some are (just check our Zogsby post election exit polls), or cannot read the Constitution.

We are in for the fight of our lives. Obama’s brown shirts are censoring questions about the government in social sites, news previously posted are disappearing from the internet. Reporters that dare ask the semi tough questions are automatically banned by the Obama/Biden? Machine.

Obama gaffes that would be the fuel of late night comedians are all but ignored. The First Amendment is in danger. The Constitution is in danger.

Wake up America.

Modern Day Book Burners

I used to cringe when sometime or another the news highlighted the story about some overzealous zealot wanting to ban a book here or there; and who can forget the saga of Salman Rushdie and his famous book “The Satanic Verses” about a group of so called apocryphal Qur’an verses that supposedly allowed fro prayers of intersession. Because of his book, Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini issued a fatwa asking all faithful Muslims to kill Rushdie on sight. The fatwa is supposed to be in place since only he who issued it, can rescind it. The only problem is that the Ayatollah is dead.

Agnostics and scholars are prompt to remind us of how the Christian Church used to burn science books during the dark ages, and persecuted free thinkers.

So, now we have Samuel Wurzelbacher coming up with a book titled “Joe the Plumber, Fighting for the American Dream”. And who would have known the reaction of some zealots…

Timothy Egan is one of the first to raise his voice complaining that Joe would not want him fixing his pipes. Truth to tell, I do not want someone so narrow minded as Mr. Egan anywhere near my property.

With a mix of attempted wit, sarcasm, and ignorance, the New York times op ed mercilessly attacks Mr. Wurzelbacher, and I bet, many others will soon join the choir of the intolerant, and ignorant.

For people who preach tolerance, equality, and justice, it is remarkable how intolerant the left thinking population of our country can be. Think about the protesters against Amendment 8 in California, how vicious and violent they became when the electorate spoke against gay marriage; to the point of assaulting old ladies, viciously protesting churches, and all around fomenting chaos disharmony.

I’d like to see Joe’s book do well, if anything, to prove that writing a book, and expressing your thoughts and ideas is a right protected by the Constitution of the United States. As Glenn Beck has done twice, remaining on the New York Times best Seller List for weeks at a time.

I would also like to see more of us, Mid Town America, write and express our opinionsin such a way that our ideas are no longer stifled by those who control the main stream media, or those who refuse to promote or even sell the books and articles written by those who oppose the main stream thinkers.

Think about it. These justice preachers will go all out, almost to the expend of approaching the use of violent measures to promote their ideals, and as long as you do not oppose them, they are happy. But when you bring forward facts, when you prop up the Constitution of The United States and the Law of the Land, they quickly turn against you.

Lets continue the fight, lets write, lets vote, lets publish, but lets not allow those modern day book burners to silence the voice of “We the People of the United States…”

Obama is no history professor

“But it is wonderful to be back in Indiana. In a few moments, we’ll open up the discussion. But I want to offer a few comments about some of the emerging threats that we face in the 21st century and offer some ideas about how we can face those threats.
Throughout our history, America’s confronted constantly evolving danger, from the oppression of an empire, to the lawlessness of the frontier, from the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor, to the threat of nuclear annihilation. Americans have adapted to the threats posed by an ever-changing world…” Barack Obama.

I am sure that by Monday, every talk show host will cream the President Elect for referring to “the bomb that fell on Pearl Harbor…” Specially since President Elect Obama claims that he was born in Hawaii, and he was just elected to Preside over the Nation whose history he seems to know so little.

President Elect Obama is usually a great speaker as long as he stays in synch with his teleprompter. Once he tries to wing it, he gives the Vice President elect a run for his money.

All we need to remember is the time that he honored the living veterans on Memorial Day, a day designated to honor those who gave their lives fighting for freedom.

“On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong…” (http://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2008/05/obamas_memorial_day_gaffe_para.html)

Next, he said: “In World War Two we didn't have the concept of post traumatic stress syndrome. People had to basically handle it on their own," he said. Referring to an uncle who had been one of the first U.S. troops into Auschwitz, the concentration camp, Obama said: "The story in the family is he came home and just went up in the attic."

This one I can sort of excuse, since we listen to the stories told and retold by our relatives, and the facts tend to change after a few beers and several decades of listening to them. However, It was the Soviets who liberated Auschwitz.

And of course, who can forget that Obama visited all 57 States (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EpGH02DtIws).

Now, I understand being under stress, and I understand that sometimes historical facts are not so clear in our minds, like when Sara Palin couldn’t recall another Supreme Court decision that she did not agree with or when she couldn’t give a straight and to the point answer to the Bush doctrine, since the Bush doctrine is still evolving until the day our President leaves office. But, again, it is up to us, “We the people…” to document and keep the correct version of history alive so our children and our children’s children learn the truth, and not some revised version brought to us courtesy of the likes of William Ayres, Stephen Colvert, David Letterman, the New York Times, the Los Angeles Times, and the rest of the Peanuts gallery in MSNBC…

How Nobody Tarnished Sara Palin's Reputation

Seventeen days ago, the New York times published a piece by Richard Perez Pena that showed how dumb our media really is, and how little attention we pay, as a Nation, to real news. In my opinion, the implications are staggering. The title of the piece is “A Senior Fellow at the Institute of Nonexistence”.

The story is about Martin Eisenstadt, the McCain advisor who was the source of the rumors about Sara Palin not knowing that Africa was a continent, and a slew of other “fictional rumors“. Like Rush Limbaugh likes to say, a false rumor, to be effective, needs a hint of truth in it. Mr. Eisenstadt is a Fellow at the Harding Institute for Freedom and Democracy. The institute, I was told, has a website. There are YouTube videos of him posted in the website. “The New Republic”, MSNBC, the L.A. Times, etc are among the many news media who quotes Mr. Eisenstadt.

There are videos on the web of Mr. Eisenstadt driving a car and spewing offensive opinions supporting Rudy Giuliani. Some of these videos even made the news.

After Rudi dropped out of the race, the subject of this article started a blog, claiming to have insider’s information. How could he not, being a McCain adviser? Later on, a short mini documentary for the BBC showed up on the web. He even broke the story of the idea to open a casino in the Green Zone in Baghdad. Iraqi Bloggers promptly protested the idea.

Eisenstadt kept abreast of the political discourse stating that when the ad comparing Obama to Paris Hilton was aired, “the phones were ringing off the hook”.

Not even Joe Wurzelbacher, Joe the Plumber, was safe from Eisenstadt’s rumors. Joe found himself being linked to Charles Keating, of the savings and loans scandal.

Jeremy Gaines, a spokesperson for MSNBC, stated that a staffer for the news organization received the piece via email, about Governor Palin and Africa, and ran with it right away. And many other bloggers and news agencies have posted in what appears to be the obituary page retractions indicating that “Martin Eisenstadt” was and indeed is, a hoax.

WHAT? That all of these rumors are not true? How Can it be?

Simple. Two guys wanted to pitch an idea for a TV show based on a Washington insider. So, since according to the NYT most of President Bush’s Cabinet and advisers have Christians names and Jewish last names, they concocted the name “Martin Eisenstadt”, recorded several YouTube videos, created a website and a blog, and a new Washington insider was born.

A blogger by the name of William Wolfrum tracked Eisenstadt all over cyber space debunking each and every one of Eisenstadt rumors, to the point that the hoaxers who created this fictional character praise his persistence, and stated that the Main Stream Media should learn a thing or two of this blogger’s tenacity. If the media would have done their jobs, they would have found two wannabe film makers by the name of Eitan Gorlin and Dan Mirvish who concocted this elaborated hoax.

Now, I waited seventeen days before writing this post, since I was hoping that our professional alternative media would jump to it and at least mention it to attempt to restore Governor Palin’s credibility. I was hoping that O’Reilly, who dedicated a fairly long segment to cover the news of Palin not knowing that Africa was a continent, and that she was pretty much a dummy that did not know the workings of the State Government. To his defense, O’Reilly did say that those rumors were ludicrous, but the guy who was reporting the “facts” was adamant that these “facts” came from a McCain advisor.

Different media outlets did issued retractions, but those retractions have not been covered by the news media, nor alternative media. So, I guess is up to us bloggers yet again to make sure that this information is properly disseminated.

Let’s keep the pressure on, and continue to expose the hoaxes and media bias.
